I love learning in person too, but learning on Zoom has a few advantages:
First of all, if you live far away, in the north, the south, or outside Eretz Yisrael altogether, it’s the only way to receive the tools I’ve developed.
And when circumstances don’t let us meet face to face, here are the advantages:
- Saving a lot of travel time
- Saving on gas and travel costs
- Full focus on the material
- More learning material
- You can watch the classes in your free time, which gives you more time to process the course material at a deep, practical level
Some women worry that a lot of Zoom time will be spent on sharing, so I want to say that each class has a structure. This group isn’t meant for sharing, but for learning that is mainly a blend of study and experience. I’ll teach the material, give a practice exercise that I’ll demonstrate with one of the women or lead with the whole group (that’s the time to bring examples we can learn from for the practice itself), and finally a relaxation to help the material settle in.
There will be some time for questions, but it will be limited. For sharing and questions, I open a WhatsApp group, so it doesn’t come at the expense of the learning time you signed up for. And it’s up to you whether to join the discussions or not.
